Summer Lawrence, DVM

Dr. Summer Lawrence is originally from coastal North Carolina and grew up showing hunter/jumpers.

She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before graduating from veterinary school in 2020 at the University of Tennessee. Summer was a member of the 2020-2021 FEA intern class and stayed on as Dr. Mitchell’s sports medicine Fellow the following year.

She is excited to return to the Northeast full-time as an associate and the token southerner. Her professional interests include lameness, internal medicine, and emergency medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Lawrence enjoys hiking, running, Netflixing, and cooking.
