Irina Vasdev, DVM

Irina earned her DVM from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and completed her undergraduate studies at New York University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During veterinary school, she served as President of the university’s AAEP chapter. She also contributed to equine genetics research in the university’s Equine Genetics and Genomics Lab and presented her findings in Puerto Rico at the National Veterinary Scholars Symposium.She completed supplementary coursework in equine acupuncture and looks forward to integrating complementary medicine into her practice.

Irina has a strong interest in sports medicine and general practice field work, which stems from her background competing with Morgan horses at the regional and national levels.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Irina enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, traveling, and riding her horse as much as she can!
