Julia Simms, DVM

Julia is a graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and is originally from the Twin Cities. During veterinary school, Julia served as the Anesthesia Chair for the Student Initiative for Reservation Veterinary Services and as the Emergency Team Chair of the university’s AAEP Student Chapter. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry at Gustavus Adolphus College.

Julia has a strong interest in equine sports medicine and surgery, and gained valuable ambulatory experience working at Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital in Minnesota prior to and during veterinary school.

In addition to interests in veterinary medicine, Julia enjoys running, playing board games, and exploring state parks and hiking trails.
