Shelby Rocereto, DVM

Shelby is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine and originally hails from the San Francisco Bay Area. She completed her undergraduate studies at Santa Clara University and brings a strong interest in sports medicine, imaging, and surgery. Shelby especially enjoys the fieldwork aspect of ambulatory practice and has gained valuable experience working with Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale and with private practitioner Dr. Lisa Laurie in California.

In addition to her clinical interests, Dr. Rocereto has served as the Zoetis Student Representative at her school and as the Membership Chair of the university’s AAEP chapter.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Shelby enjoys spending time outdoors with her family—fly fishing, skiing, hiking, riding horses, and relaxing at their cabin. A lifelong equestrian, she has competed in dressage since the age of four and has earned her USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals, as well as a NAJYRC Silver Medal.

When she’s not working with horses, you can find Shelby enjoying live music, exploring new foods and breweries, or cheering on her favorite MLB teams.
