Robert T. Neff, VMD

Dr. Neff was born and raised in Piscataway, New Jersey.  His family relocated in 1976 to Ridgefield, CT where his equine interests began, working and riding at local stables.

After graduating from Juniata College in Huntington, PA with emphasis towards a Medicine/Veterinary career he took a different path to Wall Street.  For five years he worked the fast-paced life for a brokerage firm dealing in Treasury Bills and Mortgage-backed securities.

Dr. Neff graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in June of 1995.  Following graduation, Dr. Neff completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center in Ringoes, New Jersey. 

Dr. Neff was ecstatic to return to Connecticut joining Fairfield Equine in 1996 and became a partner in 1999.  Dr. Neff’s professional interests focus on sports medicine with a strong interest in podiatry, farriery and particularly laminitis cases. 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Neff enjoys spending time with his daughters, being outdoors and boating.
