My name is Sabine Paquet. I am from Quebec, Canada, which explains my French accent! Before becoming a veterinarian, I was first and foremost an equestrian. For almost 15 years now, I have been riding and competing in the hunter discipline.
I feel very comfortable around horses, always aiming to be gentle and patient. As these qualities are essential for our four-legged patients, it is a true pleasure for me to dedicate them to their well-being. I have a strong interest in sports medicine and rehabilitation, and I want to make a tangible difference in equine health and welfare.
Because I firmly believe in collaborative teamwork between trainers, riders, farriers, massage therapists, osteopaths, and other specialists, I am eager to continue my training to become both a better veterinarian and a valuable teammate. I believe Fairfield offers the ideal environment for me to develop into the skilled equine practitioner I aspire to become.
Outside of work, I love cooking and I am a true foodie! I don’t have a favorite dish because I simply love everything. I am also a big fan of camping. My family and I own a vintage camper van. While on a road trip, I really enjoy reading and, of course, making s'mores around a campfire.
