Kim MacKinnon, DVM

Dr. Kim MacKinnon hails from Nova Scotia, Canada and attended veterinary school at the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI.

Upon graduation, she completed an internship at a sports medicine practice in Calgary, Alberta, where she continued to practice as an associate veterinarian for the next few years until moving to New York.

For the past three years, she has been practicing at Miller & Associates Equine Veterinarians, a high-level sports medicine practice in Brewster, New York.

Her interests in veterinary medicine include lameness, dentistry, geriatric care/wellness and internal medicine cases.

In her spare time, she enjoys making pottery, painting, and cooking. She resides in the Hudson Valley with her husband and two large breed dogs, Fogo and Basil.
