Liz Treece is a Connecticut native, growing up in Easton and riding dressage locally. In 2009 she received her favorite birthday present to date, a little rescue mare named Bow, who inspired Liz to become a veterinarian.
While earning her bachelor's of science in animal science at North Carolina State University she rode and was captain of the Intercollegiate Dressage Team. A 2023 graduate of North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine, she was the recipient of the ACVS Student Excellence in Large Animal Surgery Award and the Robert Agne Memorial Equine Award for Podiatry.
After many smoldering North Carolina summers, she is excited to be back in New England. Her professional interests include emergency (and internal) medicine, surgery, and podiatry.
When Liz isn't in the barn, she enjoys trail running with her dog, Russell, or reading a book - typically with one or both of her cats (Dolores and Benjamin) on her lap.
